Jee Advanced Results 2026: The Result for the most awaited examination will be expected to be out on June 1, 2026 (Monday), at 10:00 IST. The responsibility is nested on IIT Kanpur which is going to announce the JEE Advanced Results 2026. Jee Advanced Results 2026 Overview

The IIT Kanpur will publish the result on 1st June 2026. The students who have given the JEE Advanced in this year will only able to view and download their results from the official website at jeeadv.ac.in after the publication of the result. There is a direct link available which has already been created and the results are expected to be available at any moment on 1st June 2026.

Previously provisional answer key was there. So now in adding to that with the result, IIT will provide the JEE Advanced 2026 final answer keys. Guys, the result will contain the candidate’s marks obtained in the given subjects like in physics, chemistry, and mathematics along with their total marks. Also in the result declaration, the candidates will know their ranks.

This result is the key determinant for calculating the rank or position. Along with these things IIT Kanpur will announce the topper List, including names and the cutoff scores required to pass the exam. The candidates who will be qualified, they can register for the JEE Advance Counselling which will be start after one day of the result announcement i.e. on from 2nd of June 2026.

About the JEE Advance Examination 2026:

JEE Advance is one of the most difficult examination nation wide and only those candidates or aspirants are eligible to take the examination who have already qualified the JEE Mains. JEE Advance will be conducted on May 17, 2026. There were two shifts. The Paper 1 was conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and the Paper 2 will happen from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Only the top 2,50,000 candidates from the JEE Main 2026 B.E./B.Tech paper will be eligible to register for JEE Advanced 2026.

Just remember that those students who will get qualified in this exam will be able to join the JoSAA counselling process for IIT admissions which is going to be start on June 3, 2026. The provisional answer key was published on 25th of May and the objections was raised until 26th of May. IIT Kanpur is responsible to publish the final answer key along with the names of the top scorers and the cut-off marks, together with the results.

Cut-off marks or Minimum Qualifying Marks for JEE Advance 2026:

Minimum qualifying mark or the cut-off mark is the mark that should be achieve by the student to declare themselves as qualified. A candidate will be called as the qualified one only after reaching up on the required minimum percentage of marks in each subject and overall, as per their reservation category. The cutoff mark is not permanent. It varies yearly. When a candidate will qualify in the multiple categories they will be ranked in all categories they belong to.

For the IIT admission, the candidates who will be meeting the minimum percentage marks in each subject and in total will be listed in the JEE Advanced 2026 rank list. The cutoff for the examination minimum percentage of marks in each subject and minimum percentage of aggregate marks. The minimum percentage will be decided out of the total mark of 360. The counselling will start from 2nd June. JEE Advance rank is the determinant in IIT admission. On the basis of rank the students will be get admitted in to the IITs. The registration and choice filling will begin after that and it will continue up to June 12.

Procedure of Checking the JEE Advance Result:

  • The candidates have to follow some instructions to know their result.
  • Students have to go to the official website at jeeadv.ac.in for checking the result.
  • After reaching on the homepage, then they have to find the link to check the JEE Advanced result.
  • A new window will open and then the candidates can log in to their respective log in ID and Password to view their result.
  • The candidates have to enter the roll number and date of birth in the DD/MM/YYYY format and then your given phone number you have registered with for JEE Advanced then click the Submit button.
  • After submitting the information, you will see the result which will be appear on your screen.
  • This is it. Because this can bring smile on your face if you get qualified.
